Tis speakit here in Dumfriesshire too, but no written sae 
much. Maist fowk in this pairish still speak Scots, but dinnae 
ken it. Tis seen as nae speakin proper, an they wudna

Interesting site but I get the impression its a wee bit `over the 
top`. 
 The language of old Scots is indeed disappearing and it 
seems very few areas still use the language or even some of 
the words. Wigtownshire? Galloway? bits of Ayrshire, Fife? 
Thats about it really.

I am really glad to find a place where people can learn this 
language.   I have wanted to learn more of and see both 
Scotland and Ireland since I was a very small girl. I have
