What a pile of nonsense. Invent a language / culture for Orangemen. What garbage. Wabmaister's comment: If this is so I'd be interested in more details. I've just presented what literature and various linguistic studies have documented. I didn't invent it. If it is invented I'd like to know by whom and when so I can add that usefull information to the site.

what does this mean? "ye may gang far tae faur waur"
I thocht the site wis unco guid. Bit why is it thit naebody yases the auld Scots forms i inglis sounds. For example the screivit forms i the Makars lik 'sch' for the inglis 'sh' sound, 'quh' for the inglis 'wh' (Colquhoun, Balquhidder etc.), 'ei' for the inglis 'ee' sound(heid, deid) an 'ou' for the inglis 'oo' sound(soond). Aa these forms were yasit bi the Scots parliament for mony guid years an the gie us a seperate sense i oursels rather than jist yase a phonetic Scots based on modern inglis.
