I'd like to draw the author's attention to the fact that the schema on page 4 of “Wir Ain Leid” haes a wee error. The subtitle Anglo-Saxon branches into two: North and South, where South leads to Scots and North leads to Modern English. Shoud North and South no be inverted? Ay! Whoops! Thanks!
