Need a translation! Quote: "Frae a gentle master came 
decent, fawcent folk..." Robert Burns, The Scottish Bard. 
Tried the dictionary on this site, but it did not have "fawcent". 
I am thinking that it means "honest", but Could someone 
kindly provide the equivalent English word? Am trying to read 
some of my grandfather's books. I am an OAP. Thank you!
