Re. Shona Martin. Since moving to this part of the world, I have been met by nothing but friendship and warmth from people offering help when needed. It's sad to see people with such deep seated resentments, probably through their own shortcomings, to so quickly spread ill will and narrow minded attitudes. This site fronts no warnings that strangers are barred from entry and allows people to interact. It seems that there are more than "always one". In deference to your suggestion, I am here to stay.

If a problem exists with local pronunciation of seilie (from the gaildhig wird "priseil"), maybe you should think about going somewhere where it doesnt. Your attitude does stink peter holmes

Many thanks to all who emailed with suggestions for house name. Special thanks to ufo 1, good luck to him with his application for the BNP party - there's always one.

Naming house we have renovated. Only seems fit to give it a Doric name. Thought " Seiliekot" fits the bill but pronouncing "Seilie" seems to differ with locals - any offers.
