Me thinks I'll write this in standard English, being I can read 90 odd % of what's written, but writing it's another matter. I love this site. It helps me out with my own auld Scot's poetry, and I think the dialectics are soooo charming, though amusing to me in a comical way. I could care less if this has fallen into disuse. If someone knows it, I value them a little bit more than most. Thanks for it.

"charles.dornan@btconnect.com" <"charles.dornan@btconnect.com"> He is right. No such language as Scots exists in my experience. The only language that comes close is English Black Country from the midlands. This is very similar in kind to Doric Scots. Though some Glaswegians may also use phrases similar to scots.
