Hello:

I have tried to view all the websites available on Scots, and 
this one, www.scots-online.org, seems to be the best I have 
found so far. It's very informative and educational.

Finding Scots is like finding a long lost relative. I was told that 
French was the closest language to English -- I can't help but 
chuckle a lot over this now.

I'm from Canada, and I'm very pleased to discover this 
website, and I'm even more pleased to know that English 
does have a sister language.

before the english was the celts, we islanders spoke gaelic. 
Gaelic speakers can still understand native scots speakers 
to a degree (gaelic) and those from Brittany in France ( 
Brittane/Gaelic)
Lets get back to our real roots in gaelic, surely it is easier to 
start a new religion than invent a new lingo!

Wabmaister's Comment: I think somebody's getting a few things 
confused here. Scots is not the same as Scottish Gaelic. It is highly 
unlikely that Breton and Gaelic are mutually intelligible. And once again, 
if the language is invented I would like to know by whom and when so I 
can add this interesting information to my website.
