Airt: Menu translation
I need help in trying to convert a menu into Scots tongue for an event where we want to convey our Scottish heritage - can anyone help? Starters; Marinated Scottish salmon, pickled cucumber & asian( sorry chefs choice!) leaves. Chicken liver & fois gras parfait with toasted brioche. A very special Cauliflower soup Mains; Roast Turkey with traditional accompaniments. Pan fried Sea Bass, bubble & squeak, mussel broth. Slow roasted Scotch beef with horseraddish dumlings. Sweets; Christmas pudding. Lemon tart & raspberry coulis. Dark & white chocolate parfait. Your help would be much appreciated

Airt: Desperately Looking for Scots Abroad Program
While I do not speak any Scots now, I would desperately like to learn the language. I'm able to read it and understand almost all of (because my native language is English); however, I would love to go abroad and become fluent. I am currently in Secondary School in the States and I receive very good marks from my professors, so I'm certainly up for the challenge. If anyone knows any 'Study Abroad" programs for Scots, please email me or leave the information as a post in this guest book. -Matt
